Impressive stretch run puts WL-Salem in playoffs for 11th time
West Liberty-Salem’s chances of pushing its playoff streak to six straight years looked to be in serious jeopardy early this season.
The Tigers started the 2016 campaign with two losses and were 2-4 after six games.
However, they rallied down the stretch with four consecutive wins to close the regular season.
“The guys have a great job of sticking to plan and working hard,” said WL-Salem head coach Dan McGill. “This group has been very coachable this year, and it is a testament to the senior leadership.”
