A Belle Center man was arrested for having a crack pipe and brass knuckles in his possession after officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department responded to a complaint of a suspicious vehicle on Friday evening.
They were called to the dead end of Woodview Drive at about 4:45 p.m. Friday on a report of a vehicle parked there for an extended period.
The vehicle, driven by Colin Amidon, 31, of 308 S. Elizabeth St., Belle Center, was stopped in the area and police dog Arco alerted on the vehicle during the stop.
During a search, they found a suspected crack pipe and brass knuckles and arrested Amidon on charges of posesseion of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of certain weapons.
