Phyllis J. Hall, 88, of Huntsville, OH, passed away peacefully Saturday afternoon, November 12, 2022, at her home surrounded by her family.
Phyllis was born on April 5, 1934, in Rushsylvania, OH, a daughter of the late Marion and Lucy Skeen Marshall. Phyllis married Fred Hall on February 21, 1953, in Danville, VA, and he preceded her in death on February 11. 2022.
Phyllis is survived by three children, Steven (Nancy) Hall, and Scott (Connie) Hall, both of Huntsville, and Shary (Dave) Sizemore of Maumee, OH, six grandchildren, Wendy Brademeyer, Kristen (Scott) Jones, Wes (Molly) Hall, Alex (Kelli) Hall, Ben Sizemore, and Mathew (Jennifer) Sizemore, fourteen great grandchildren, Grant and Carter Brademeyer, Kara, Brook and Becca Blausey, Maddux, Cooper, and Miller Hall, Garrett and Graham Hall, David and Jacob Sizemore, Gage Sizemore and Haley Jones.
Phyllis was a 1952 graduate of Huntsville School. She was an active member of Huntsville Presbyterian Church. Phyllis worked in many local doctor’s offices, administration for Indian Lake Schools, and Village of Huntsville. She was a former member of Huntsville EMS. Phyllis was an extremely skilled seamstress and quilter. She created many wedding dresses and clothing throughout the years. She enjoyed reading, traveling and watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren’s activities. Her greatest joy came from the time she spent with Fred and her family.
Memorial services will begin at 2 p.m., Friday, December 30, at Shoffstall Funeral Home, 205 S. Main St., Lakeview with visitation from noon to 2 pm. Inurnment will follow in Huntsville Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given in Phyllis’ memory to Universal Hospice Care.
