Paul W. Crissinger, 67 of Ashland, formerly of West Liberty, passed away Monday, June 21, 2021.
He was born on October 7, 1953 the son of C.F. and Joan (nee Boyer) Crissinger.
Paul was a 1971 graduate of Ashland High School. He went on to earn a bachelor’s degree of Architecture from Virginia Technology Institute in 1976.
He retired after more than 14 years from Humble Construction as a Construction Project Manager and was previously employed at Knowlton Construction.
For more than 15 years, he was a Cub Scout Leader and enjoyed sailing at Indian Lake, camping and loved to travel.
Paul is survived by his mother, Mrs. Joan Crissinger of Ashland; two daughters, Madeline Crissinger of Cincinnati and Monica Crissinger of West Liberty; mother of his children and lifelong friend, Julie Crissinger of Tampa, Florida; his girlfriend, Brandee Recinos; a granddaughter, Iris Benton; and their Swedish son, Jan Wallander.
Paul is preceded in death by his father, C.F. “Criss” Crissinger who passed away on January 7, 2013; and a sister, Ann Crissinger who passed away October 12, 1966.
Funeral services will be held Monday, June 28, at 11 a.m. in the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home with Reverend Tom Snyder officiating. A meal and time of fellowship will follow in the Legacy Room of the funeral home. Interment will be in the Ashland County Memorial Park.
Friends may call Sunday, June 27, from noon. to 3 p.m. in the Eichholtz, Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 321 N Main St, Bellefontaine, and one hour prior to the service from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Monday in the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Ashland County Memorial Park.
