Terrence W. Soter, 24, and Sydney P. Deweese, 21, both of Miamisburg, each were arrested for domestic violence as a result of an incident early Sunday morning at Froggy’s, 11065 Township Road 293, Lakeview.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the parking lot of the business about 12:10 a.m. in reference to a fight in progress between a man and a woman. Witnesses reportedly were trying to break up the fight and said the man became confrontational with them.
When deputies arrived, they observed that Deweese had fresh blood and redness to her nose and face and a knot at the top of her forehead and she displayed signs of intoxication. She told deputies that she and her boyfriend had only been arguing and the injuries were a result of her fall from a golf cart that day.
Soter also had sustained injuries, and deputies said he had blood on his face, arms and leg and bite marks on his neck and shoulder area. He also was intoxicated, deputies said.
Witnesses observed a physical fight between the couple and said it had also taken place at a nearby Froggy’s rental cabin. Inside the cabin, deputies observed blood stains, torn curtains and a broken screen door.
Soter also was charged with criminal damaging for the damage to the screen door at the rental cabin. He and Deweese were placed under arrest and transported to the Logan County Jail.

Brandy advised that David had recently moved out of the home, but she had requested that he bring her medication to the residence. While he was there, she said he shoved her three separate times. She said she was not injured and that she just didn’t want him at the house again.
However while deputies were speaking with her, they observed bruising to her face. She said she hit her face on the fireplace when the defendant shoved her.
Deputies also spoke with David, who said he would never “put his hands on a woman.”
He declined to fill out a written statement and was lodged in the jail.
