Nancy L. Fleece, 82, of Bellefontaine, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2019, at Hardin Hills Health Care Center.
She was born Jan. 1, 1937. in Zanesville a daughter of Roy C and Jessica O. Kinkaid Brown. Nancy retired from Siemens after 37 years of service and served as union president while she was employed. She was an avid animal lover as well as an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cincinnati Reds. She was an accomplished bowler and a member of the Bellefontaine USBC Association Hall of Fame, and was a member of the Women’s Bowlers Hall of Fame Association. She enjoyed gardening, playing cards with friends and playing practical jokes on her loved ones. Her love for her family and grandchildren was endless and she loved spending time with them.
Survivors include her husband, Charles “Duke” Fleece of 64 years; daughters ,Deb (Don) Proffitt, Cathy (Zane) Mathys and Chris (Doug) Casey; grandchildren, Misty Centers, Christy (Joe) Newman, Logan (Jill) Mathys and Mckenzie (Chris)Lamb; great-grandchildren, Samantha Davis, Mallory Centers, Rhys Bervas, Rhett Newman, Reagan Newman, Kamryn Mathys and an additional great-grandson on the way.
Pastor Bryan Meadows officiates a memorial service at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, May 30, at Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home and Crematory, 5591 S. U.S. Route 68, West Liberty.
