Nancy J. Blair, 84, of West Mansfield, died suddenly Sunday, Oct. 9, 2016, at Memorial Hospital of Union County.
A loving homemaker, Nancy was a member of the West Mansfield Church of Christ and enjoyed reading, working word search puzzles and listening to country music.
Born Dec. 23, 1931, in West Mansfield, she was the daughter of the late Foster and Avis Kinney Green. On June 2, 1953, she married her husband of 60 years, Donald Blair and he preceded her in death in 2013. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Diana Gibson.
Surviving are her children, Dan (Jane) Blair of Zanesfield, David “Bob” Blair and Debra (James) Furlong, both of West Mansfield, and Darla “Sandy” (Craig) Shaw of Mt. Victory; grandchildren, J.D. (Jessica) Gibson, Jeremy Furlong, Jeffrey Shaw, James (Marice) Furlong, Brayton Blair, Colt Blair and Haley Gibson; five great-grandchildren; and a son-in-law, John Gibson.
Funeral services are at noon Thursday, Oct.13, 2016 at Wilson Funeral Home-Schnurrenberger Chapel, 222 W. Center St., West Mansfield, where calling is from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, and an hour prior to the service. Dean Wasson will officiate and burial follows in the Zanesfield Cemetery.
