A mother and daughter were charged with domestic violence Tuesday after they admitted fighting each other.
Destiny K. Gehle, 27, and Barbara A. Gehle, 46, both of 501 Gunntown Road, Lot 58, each was issued a summons after officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department arrived around 9 p.m.
The daughter told officers arguments ensued with her mother and her mother’s boyfriend, Kirby Fry, after they began to interrupt the daughter as she was trying to help her son with his school work.
The argument between the mother and daughter escalated and they exchanged blows in the living room in front of the boy.
The mother and her boyfriend walked to a neighboring relative’s residence until officers arrived at the scene.
Both women had visible injuries, officers report.
Vehicles damaged
Krista Lyon, 112 Everett St., Apt. B, reported Wednesday a sport utility vehicle and a station wagon parked in the drive overnight were scratched along the driver sides of the vehicles.
Resident reports break-in
Michael L. Orahood, 417 N. Elm St., reported Tuesday someone entered a detached garage at this residence overnight. A padlock on the overhead door was cut off and a side door was damaged in the break-in. Nothing was reported missing at the time of the complaint but Orahood was going to recheck his possessions in the garage.
