Bellefontaine’s High School wrestling team competed at the Bob Schwab Classic at Bishop Fenwick on Saturday and came away with six placers in a 36-team field.
Team scores and full tournament results were not available.
“Overall, I thought all of our guys wrestled aggressively and pushed the pace in their matches, said BHS head coach Aaron LaBatt. “We were real pleased with the attitude and effort our kids gave. It was a real solid start to the season.”
Seniors Dawson Miller and C.J. Cook led Bellefontaine by winning their weight classes. Cook won the 195-pound weight class by going 5-0 with four pins and a technical fall. Miller also went 5-0 with four pins.
