MARYSVILLE — Bond for Richard Adam McVay, 31, of Zanesfield, was set at $500,000 when he was arraigned Monday in Marysville Municipal Court.

McVay was arrested Jan. 22 and charged with one count of felonious assault in connection with the Feb. 21 beating of an elderly Marysville man at Eljer Park in the city.
A preliminary hearing is set for Monday and McVay remains incarcerated at Tri-County Regional Jail in Mechanicsburg.
An unidentified accomplice remains at large. Anyone with information should contact the Marysville Police Department at (937) 645-7300.
