Mary Francis (Meade) Turner, 88, of Bellefontaine, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Saturday, July 2, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Mary was born October 2, 1933 in Loveland, Ohio, daughter of Steve Meade and Carrie (Erwin) Meade. Mary was an artist. She could see a finished work in a pile of materials. She was a pianist with the gift of playing by ear. She was an amazing seamstress, gardener, and cook. Her home reflected all her creativity, which she shared with all while hosting family reunions. Her family was her world. She was always available for a chat or heart to heart while serving freshly made pie.
Mary attended Huntsville schools and proudly earned her GED in 1983. She was a pianist, Sunday school teacher, and charter member of the Church of the Open Bible, which was built by her father, Steve Meade, and Clarence Means. She was a student of the Bible, much of which she memorized. She showed the love of God in everything she did and demonstrated exemplary Christian values, which guided her life.
