BRANDON |
A Springfield drug dealer who has spent most of the past decade in prison admitted a local charge and was ordered to two more years.
Jason A. Brandon, 31, pleaded guilty to having a weapon under disability this week in Logan County Common Pleas Court and was immediately sentenced to the prison term.
He was arrested in May in possession of more than four grams of crack cocaine, $853 and a 9mm semi-automatic handgun when detectives with the Logan County Joint Drug Task Force, officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department and officers with the Adult Parole Authority served a warrant at Comfort Inn, 260 Northview Drive.
AUBREY |
• Darnell K. Aubrey, 34, of West Mansfield, was sentenced recently to two and a half years in prison for domestic violence in connection with a March incident in which he and his roommate and co-defendant, Russell Ratleff, allegedly held a woman against her will.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded to an assault complaint and Mr. Ratlef reportedly said the female victim, Whitney Davis, was not at the residence.
They eventually were given consent to search the home and found Ms. Davis upstairs. She said she was assaulted by Mr. Aubrey.
Mr. Aubrey was initially charged with kidnapping, felonious assault and domestic violence while Mr. Ratleff, who is scheduled to go to trial in February, is facing complicity to kidnapping and obstructing justice charges.
