A 33-year-old Urbana man was taken into custody on a probation violation after officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department and paramedics with the Bellefontaine Fire Dpartment responded to an overdose call att about 10:30 p.m. Thursday.
Raymond Walters was treated and taken to Mary Rutan Hospital for syptoms of an opiate overdose, officers report. He was sentenced July 17 to community control for two counts of trafficking in heroin and was lodged in the Logan County Jail after his release from the hospital.
During the investigation, Courtney Hildreth, 23, a resident of the 436 Walker St. home where the overdose occurred turned over a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia for smoking marijuana but told officers she was not involved with opiate abuse. She was issued summonses for the marijuana crimes.
