David B. Gearheart, 60, address at large, was charged with violating a civil protection order and criminal trespass related to an incident Thursday morning.
Deputies responded about 11:45 a.m. to 11031 Oneida Path, Lakeview, to speak with his sister, Gay Gearheart. She reported that her brother used to live with her, but now she has a CPO against him.
She said in the last day, he somehow gained entry to her home and she found him hiding behind some boxes in her closet.
When speaking with deputies, the defendant said he knew he wasn’t permitted at the residence. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Logan County Jail.
