Aaron J. Rice, 24, of 6890 Township Road 30, DeGraff, was charged with a felony count of abduction related to an incident at his residence Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning where he allegedly kept his girlfriend there against her will.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office were notified about the incident Wednesday by his girlfriend, Kierstyn Terry, 18, of Marysville.
She said he went to the defendant’s residence about 9 p.m. Tuesday and was helping him do some cleaning in the home because he had been sick, she said. She told him she needed to be home by her curfew at 11 p.m., and at that time he reportedly became angry and argumentative.
Ms. Terry said the defendant began calling her names and accused her of lying about her activities that day. When she tried to leave the residence, he allegedly held her down on a bed and that he made her stay the night there.
She told deputies she was finally able to leave the home at 8 a.m. the next morning. Ms. Terry did not report any injuries.
The defendant was arrested at his residence about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday and transported to the Logan County Jail.
