Indian Lake Middle School custodians Dee Danieau and Robby Benedict load up canned goods from the giant turkey from the items donated to the Indian Lake All District Food Drive. Monday, Indian Lake High School student council members gathered all the cans and nonperishables collected over the past week and took them to the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry in Russells Point. In all, students across the district brought in enough donations to fill six and a half vehicles, an estimated 4,000 pounds of food. Mrs. Cordova’s class at ILHS and Mrs. Fullerton’s class at ILMS brought in the most canned goods, earning them a donut party. At ILES, they filled their goal of 25 boxes, plus some, so each student will receive a lunchtime treat. (Indian Lake Schools Photo)
