In the aftermath of Logan Cole being shot by another student at West Liberty-Salem High School in January, the local community came together to raise tens of thousands of dollars to help support Cole and his family.
Logan, who has returned to school and continues to make major progress in his recovery from the shooting, plans to give a big chunk of that money back to WL-Salem.
During a reverse raffle event sponsored by the WL-Salem athletic association at the school Saturday night, Logan announced that he and his family are donating $22,000 to the school district to help fund a project to build a new field house adjacent to the football field.
