LoCo Art announces the following summer workshops for area children and teens are currently accepting registrations:
• Mural Making with Sam Bartlett — June 27-July 2, LoCo Art Spot For Youth, 130 S. Main St., Suite B105; 10 a.m. to noon for ages 8-13, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. for ages 12-17; weeklong residency making murals that will become centerpieces of the non-profit organization’s new space; a reception with entertainment planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, July 2.
• Master Gardener’s Mural — July 18-23; LoCo Art artists lead mural-making workshop to decorate Logan County Master Gardener’s new shed along Troy Road near west Sandusky Avenue; participants do not need to be enrolled in the WIC program to attend.
• Duarte Browne, Mixed Up Media — Aug. 8-12, LoCo Art Spot for Youth; Mr. Brown returns to Logan County for weeklong workshop featuring range of media and methods to make original works of arts, culminates with group show open to public.
