A group of local tumblers from Gloria’s Tumbling and Trampoline team competed at the USTA Ohio State Championships on Saturday at the University of Rio Grande.
Gloria’s Tumbling received two second-place team trophies for tumbling and double-mini trampoline and two third-place team trophies in tumbling. This was a qualifying meet for the national meet in June, which is in Madison, Wisc.
Individually, Khierstyn Branan, Amber Kuck and Kylie Ropp were awarded with advance patches, while Branan won a $200 scholarship. Kaeleigh Flora and Kolbi Moell were both named to the new Ohio all-state team.
