Linda C. Van Etten, 67, of Russells Point, passed away Monday, Feb. 19, 2018, at her home.
Linda was born May 7, 1950, in Trenton, N.J., a daughter of the late Donald and Alberta Smith Van Etten.
Linda is survived by her two sons, Justin (Katie) Lacher of Bellefontaine and Jarod (Sarah) Lacher of Huntsville; and six grandchildren, Kensley, Keegan, Crosley, Cason, Kaiden and Kamden.
Linda was a 1968 graduate of Howard High School in Ellicott City, Md. She worked for many years at Gem Sportswear and more recently at Indian Lake Moose Lodge until she retired. Linda was a member of Indian Lake Women of the Moose 452. She was a talented artist, working in stained glass and other media. Linda was a very friendly individual who greeted most she met with a “honey” or “sweetie.” She loved spending time with family and friends and playing with her grandchildren.
Funeral services are at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, at Shoffstall Funeral Home, 205 S. Main St., Lakeview, with visitation two hours prior. Burial is in Roundhead Cemetery.
