Eric Tom, representative from the Logan County Education Foundation, visited with Benjamin Logan High School college-bound seniors Thursday to share information about foundation scholarships and provide suggestions regarding the application process.
He noted that many LCEF scholarship applications go out in late January and are due in early March.
The LCEF scholarships typically range from $100 to $10,000, and each year, more than 20 scholarships are awarded to area high school seniors.
Since 2000, the LCEF has helped more than 350 students further their education through the scholarship program, according to www.lcefd.org.
