The Chiefs turned in one of their best performances of the spring Thursday by rolling to a 12-2 five-inning victory over host Indian Lake in a Central Buckeye Conference matchup.
Bellefontaine improves to 8-15 overall and 7-9 in the CBC, while the Lakers drop to 11-12, 6-7.
“I was really proud of how well our girls played,” said Bellefontaine head coach Katie Buffkin. “They came ready to go. I hope we can continue to build on this momentum going into our final regular-season game (tonight) against Piqua and then into the tournament next week.”
