Bellefontaine’s girls soccer team used a penalty kick with three minutes left in the game to pull of a 3-2 win over host Lima Shawnee on Saturday in non-league action.
The win lifts the Chieftains to 5-3 on the season.
“This game had a little of everything,” said BHS head coach Matt Price. “The elements, injuries, fouls, cards, two penalty kicks and two teams playing hard to get a win. A game like this is good experience for us going into the heart of the (Central Buckeye Conference) schedule.”
