Bellefontaine’s girls tennis team picked up its first win of the season Tuesday by defeating host Urbana 3-2 in Central Buckeye Conference action.
Bellefontaine won at first and third singles and second doubles.
In the first singles match, Cambryia Elkins rolled to a 6-4, 6-0 victory for the Chiefs.
At third singles, Madison Aldo recorded a 6-3, 6-3 victory.
Bellefontaine’s second doubles team of Cassidy Braun and Gracie Beaverson pulled out a 6-0, 4-6, 6-1 victory.
In the other two matches of the night, the Chiefs’ Livi Robbins was defeated 6-1, 6-1 at second singles and the first doubles team of Abbi Adelsberger and Devyn Croston lost 6-1, 6-2.
