A Logan County jury Tuesday returned a verdict of guilty on the charge of rape, a felony of the first degree, against Dion J. Frazier.
The jury additionally found that the victim was under the age of 10 years old at the time of the crime.
Following the verdict, Judge Kevin P. Braig revoked Frazier’s bond and ordered he await sentencing in the Logan County Jail.
Judge Braig set a sentencing hearing for 10 a.m. Jan. 27.
The jury also found Frazier, 47, not guilty on a second count of rape and on a count of gross sexual imposition, a felony of the third degree.
Logan County Assistant Prosecutor Alice Robinson-Bond represented the State of Ohio.
Defense counsel Eric Allen of New Albany represented the defendant.
