Two defendants were sentenced Tuesday while six others entered guilty pleas during recent appearances before Logan County Common Pleas Court Judge Mark S. O’Connor.
Charles Belcher, 39, of Harlan Ind., was sentenced to nine months in the Logan County Jail and ordered to pay restitution for passing bad checks.
Jeffrey Lemaster, 52, of Springfield was sentenced to three years community control and ordered to pay a $500 fine, court costs and restitution for receiving stole property.
Entering guilty pleas were:
• Lewis Pickering, 21, of Quincy: theft, breaking and entering and two counts of criminal damaging, placed in the Logan County Prosecutor’s pretrial diversion program;
• Faith Campbell, 52, of Columbus: eluding, sentencing Oct. 10;
• Rusty Booker, 26, of Russells Point: safecracking and theft, sentencing Oct. 10;
• Trevor Drummond, 23, of Kenton: aggravated possession of drugs, sentencing Oct. 10;
• Kirby Stahler, 35, of DeGraff: possession of drugs, sentencing Oct. 10; and
• Charles Roberts IV, 30, of Bellefontaine: possession of drugs and admitted a community control violation, sentencing Nov. 7.
