John Bradley “Brad” Woods, 58, of Bellefontaine, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2016, in Mary Rutan Hospital.
He was born Jan. 27, 1957, in New Castle, Ind., a son of the late Jack and Marilyn Leavell Woods. He also was preceded in death by a brother, Jack L. Woods II.
He married the former Vicki Sherrick on July 5, 2002, in Bellefontaine, and she survives, along with his sons, Matt (Roxanne Kolesar) Woods and Ryan (Ashley) Woods, both of Westerville; three stepdaughters, Angie (Jason) Ramsdail of Elida, Brittany (Steve) Farley of Mansfield and Kristin (Jeremiah) Ferguson of Gahanna; five grandchildren, Ethan, Ezri, Brayden, Logan and Kaiden; one brother, Randall E. Woods of Rancho Santa Fe, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was a 1975 graduate of New Castle High School in Indiana and a 1979 graduate of Ball State University. He enjoyed traveling with his family and was a fan of the Cincinnati Reds. He worked as a representative for Teva Pharmaceutical Industries LTD and was active with the Lima Community Church.
Pastor Brad Taylor officiates a funeral at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 11, in the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, Bellefontaine, where visitation is from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 10. Burial is in Bellefontaine Cemetery.
