Jennie Lee (Bratcher) Lowry, 85, of Lakeview, ended her long brave fight on her own terms on Sunday, Nov. 15, 2020, while at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Columbus.
Jennie was born on April 10, 1935 in LaFollette, Tenn. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Jessie Bratcher, brothers, James and Glenn Bratcher, her husband and love of her live, Gerald Lowry, and many dear friends.
She leaves behind her loving daughters, Cheri (Jimi) Lowry and Terri (Curtis) Locker, her brother, Ralph (JoLynn) Bratcher, grandchildren, Sara (Tyler) Mangas, Anderson (Hilary) Payne, Jess Sweeney, Travis (Vanessa) Sweeney, and Sammy (Nathan) Miller, her great grandchildren, Brady, Grant, and Devin Mangas, Kinley, Grayden, and Nolan Payne, and Aiden and Emmitt LaMere, and her loving companion of 18 years, Jeff Lacher.
Jennie was an outgoing, caring, and loving friend to many. She was an avid card player and enjoyed a good game of shuffleboard. She was a longstanding member of Indian Lake FOE Aries 3615 Auxiliary, and Indian Lake Women of the Moose Chapter 452. She lived life to the fullest, despite having some health issues. She loved sending cards and making visits to friends living in nursing homes. She had a sharp with and lived life her way. Some of her favorite memories are of the 10 years she and Jerry spent wintering in Florida and time spent with family.
A celebration of her life will be conducted in the spring or summer of 2021. A memorial tree will be planted by Jerry’s tree in the spring.
