Jeffrey Salch, 56, passed away at his home in West Mansfield on Friday, March 27, 2020.
He was born in Jersey City, N.J. He attended Simsbury High School in Simsbury, Conn., and served in the United States Army for four years. Jeff moved to Logan County in 1994 where he worked many years for West Liberty Lumber Yard in West Liberty and ACE Hardware in West Mansfield.
Jeff was an excellent carpenter who loved building, painting, fixing and creating. Jeff will be remembered for his hard work and dedication as a kind “handy man” to all.
Jeff was survived by former spouse and close friend Amy Flannery and in-laws Bob and Penny Frey, his daughter Emily “Rusty” Salch, his parents Herb and Lois Salch, his sister Joan Hull and brother Kevin Salch.
There will be no service or visitation, but his cremated remains will be scattered at a future date according to Jeff’s wishes.
