James R. Baker, 69, of Bellefontaine, passed away at 2:40 a.m. on Monday, March 16, 2020 at Logan Acres Care Center in Bellefontaine, Ohio. He was born on September 23, 1950, a son of the late Pat and Phyllis(Manahan) Baker. He was also preceded in death by his sister Lucy Marlow.
Jim is survived by his two brothers, Junior Baker and Tim (Shelley) Baker; three nephews, Mike (Loretta) Stroud, Sampson Marlow, and Christopher Marlow; a brother-in-law, Bob Marlow; and his special extended family at Logan Acres and RTC.
Jim was an avid collector of stuffed animals, especially Beanie Babies which he often won playing BINGO at RTC. He loved boating and fishing on Indian Lake and “playing” his guitar.
Pastor Bryan Meadows will officiate a graveside service at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 20, 2020 at Greenwood- Union Cemetery in DeGraff, Ohio.
