James E. “Jamie” Seeger, 60, of Lewistown, passed away Monday morning, Dec. 11, 2017, at Toledo Hospital.
Jamie was born Oct. 11, 1957, in Dayton, a son of the late Ernest N. and Joyce B. Mendenhall Seeger. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Seeger.
Jamie is survived by two sons, Cody (Bobbi) Seeger of Bellefontaine and Kyle Seeger of Lewistown; six grandchildren, LaMichael, Addison, Ally, Sidney, Hannah and Carmen; four siblings, Nevin Seeger of Trotwood, Marta (Al) Barber of Gardner, Mass., Richard (Lisa) Seeger of Spring Valley and Christopher Seeger of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
Jamie was a 1975 graduate of Meadowdale High School. He was retired from Ironworkers Union 290 of Dayton and was a member of Indian Lake Moose Lodge 1533, Lakeview.
Jamie enjoyed working, golfing and loved spending time with his grandchildren. Jamie really appreciated the friendships he made during his life.
Funeral services are at 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, at Shoffstall Funeral Home, 205 S. Main St., Lakeview, following visitation that begins at 2 p.m. Burial is in Huntsville Cemetery at a later date.
