Indian Lake Middle School faculty members made special home deliveries just after school concluded Dec. 21 to make sure ILMS families in need have a hearty Christmas dinner.
Several staff met after school at Lakeview Community Markets to pick up hams and cooking supplies for the boxes that students have been helping to fill over the past week.
Earlier in December, ILMS Student Council received a $980 check during the Mary Rutan Foundation Community Health and Wellness Grant as reported in the Examiner. ILMS Student Council Adviser Katy Taylor explains the grant money was used to purchase hams and all items needed to prepare Christmas dinners for 24 families with students at ILMS.
