A husband and wife were arrested within two hours of each other Sunday.
Dennis J. Bradshaw Jr., 38, of 809 Heritage Court, Apt. 35, was charged with assault, obstructing official business and persistent disorderly conduct Tanya L. Bradshaw, 34, was charged with persistent disorderly conduct.
Officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department were called to apartment complex at around 3:10 p.m. and learned the male suspect allegedly hit Kierstin Kantner, a neighbor, near her right temple.
While officers were talking to her, the suspect was leaning out a window yelling at the victim and witnesses. He continued despite officers’ orders to stop.
Police went to his apartment, arrested him and transported him to the Logan County Jail.
The female suspect was warned repeatedly to have no further contact with the victim.
However, they were back on the scene by 5 p.m.
Witnesses observed her walk to Kantner’s apartment, remove a flower pot and then damaged it, dumping the flowers in a trash bin.
She was lodged in jail.
