BMS leaders present school-year goals
Bellefontaine City Schools Board of Education members were updated at their Monday evening meeting about two student groups who have qualified to attend international competitions during April.
The board approved Bellefontaine High School DECA members Boris Pattison and Min Lin’s trip to the DECA International Career Development Conference in Anaheim, Calif., slated for April 25-30.
The pair qualified for the competition following their performances at the Ohio DECA conference earlier this month in Columbus. They will be accompanied to California by their adviser, Katie Rychener.
In addition, three fellow BHS students, Reid Gleason, Ryoma Kawakami and Dustin VanBuskirk, have earned spots at the VEX Robotics World Competition in Louisville, Ky., from April 19-23.
