Staff from the Logan County Health District, along with several volunteers, work Tuesday to administer COVID-19 vaccinations during a drive-thru clinic conducted at the Logan County Fairgrounds. Nearly 50 LCHD staff and volunteers vaccinated over 400 people who were able to receive their shot without having to leave their vehicles. Tuesday’s drive-thru clinic was a, “scheduled trial run,” staff reported on the LCHD Facebook page. The health district currently has plans to roll out an online scheduling tool to help facilitate vaccine appointments. “We have received a little under 4,000 doses for a community of 46,000,” LCHD staff reported.
