Greta Eileen Marker, 79, of Bellefontaine, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2019 at Belle Springs Nursing and Rehab, Bellefontaine.
Eileen was born on July 8, 1940 in Troy, a daughter of the late Chester and Deloris Crawford Argabright. She is preceded in death by four siblings, Chet Argabright, Janie McClain, Herbert Argabright and Debra McClain; and a daughter-in-law, Chana Marker.
Eileen is survived by two children, Donald Marker of Russells Point, and Peggy Sue Marker of Bellefontaine, two grandchildren, DJ (Renee) Marker of Bellefontaine, and Amanda (Dave) Marker-Hemmert of Russells Point; two great-grandchildren, Melanie Watkins of Russells Point, and Holden Baker, a sister, Alice Cottrill; and several nieces and nephews.
Eileen had a varied work history starting at Tinsley’s IGA, then working throughout her life at Airstream, GEM Sportswear and Design Harness. She was a member of Indian Lake Community Church in Russells Point. She enjoyed watching western movies, attending festivals and art exhibits. One of her favorite times was traveling across the country with Peggy when they moved to California. Her greatest joy came from her family, friends and her community.
Pastor Karen Blackburn begins memorial services at noon, Saturday, November 30, 2019 at Indian Lake Community Church with visitation one hour prior to services.
