Just a few days after announcement that Green Hills Community would no longer serve as a polling place for the March 17 primary election, administrators announced Thursday plans to restrict visitors into the long-term care facility in an effort to curb the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus.
“Visitation at Green Hills Community is now restricted to one visitor per person per day,” the facility announced Thursday. “Restrictions are in place because of the fragile population we serve.”
The move is in response to to directives handed down from the Ohio Department of Health as well as the director of veteran’s services.
Visitors should expect additional screening measures upon their arrival. A five-question form must be filled out by each guest that seeks information including recent travel and any current symptoms resembling the coronavirus.
