Gene “Chuck” Bayhan, 69, of Bellefontaine passed away Wednesday morning, Nov. 9, 2016, at his home.
He was born in Dayton on Oct. 13, 1947, to the late Dennis J. and Pauline E. Cyr Bayhan. He married the former Marylou Williams on July 22, 1972, in Russells Point and she preceded him in death in January 2006.
Chuck was a truck driver for many years. A joker at heart, Chuck loved to eat — especially breakfast. He enjoyed putting puzzles together. Chuck also loved to fish and spend time with his fishing buddy, Danny German. He previously attended Bellefontaine First Church of God.
Chuck is survived by his fiancé, Lois Duncan of Bellefontaine; daughters, Jenny Turnmire of Indian Lake and Sue Cline of Russells Point; numerous grandchildren, including Madison Duncan; four great-grandchildren; a brother, James (Joyce) Bayhan of Huntsville; sisters, Johnnie Kennedy and Pam Jauret, both of Bellefontaine, Barbara (Robert) Kizer of Dayton and twin sister Jane (Danny) Long of Savannah, Ga.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Following Chuck’s wishes, there will be no services.
