The Logan County Emergency Management Agency and community partners present a free community safety training from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, at the Huntsville United Methodist Church, 6611 Fruit St., Huntsville.
A free chili lunch begins at noon, and the classroom training starts at 12:30 p.m. while participants finish their lunches. A hands-on fire extinguisher practice is from 1 to 2 p.m.
Childcare will be available, provided by American Legion Auxiliary volunteers, who also are preparing and serving lunch.
