Three adults and an infant were transported from a 7:50 p.m. crash Saturday at Sandusky Avenue and Madriver Street, officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department report.
Squads from the Bellefontaine Fire and EMS Department transported motorists Paul D. Hassel, 28, of Bellefontaine and Samantha L. Pulkkinen, 33, of Bryant Pond, Maine, along with Pulkkinen’s passengers, James Libby, 37, and Malana Libby, 10 months, both of South Paris, Maine, to Mary Rutan Hospital for treatment of possible injuries.
According to crash reports, Hassel was northbound in a sport utility vehicle and failed to stop for a red light. His SUV was hit in the side by Pulkkinen’s eastbound car. Damage was heavy to the vehicles.
Hassel was issued a traffic citation for a stop light violation.
