Former Benjamin Logan volleyball standout Alex Thompson was recently honored for her play on the volleyball court at Queens University of Charlotte, N.C.
Thompson, a 6-1 junior middle hitter, was named to the NCAA Southeast Regional all-tournament team. She helped her team to a runner-up performance in the regionals.
Thompson tallied a .316 attacking percentage, finishing with 25 kills over 15 sets. She also had 10 total blocks and 10 digs.
Queens University went 22-10 this season.
