Benjamin Logan’s boys basketball team ran out of gas down the stretch Friday as Graham rallied in the fourth quarter for a 53-49 Central Buckeye Conference Mad River division win.
The Raiders fall to 1-4 overall and 0-2 in the CBC Mad River division. The Falcons picked up their first win of the season to improve to 1-4, 1-1.
Ben Logan started off hot in the opening quarter with a 13-8 run. But Graham was able to use an 18-8 scoring spurt in the second quarter to take the lead (26-21) into halftime.
The momentum shifted back to the Raiders in the third quarter. Ben Logan went on 14-8 spurt to take a one-point advantage (35-34).
The Falcons were able to come from behind in the fourth quarter with a 19-14 effort.
Ethan Ricketts led the charge for the Raiders’ offense with 16 points. Trey Allen recorded 13 points and Keaghan Stahler chipped in seven points.
In junior varsity action, Ben Logan defeated Graham 47-35.
Ben Logan hosts Northwestern on Friday for another CBC Mad River division contest.
