Empty Bowls of Logan County attendees will receive a handcrafted bowl and a simple meal of soup and bread for $15 donation per person. Organizers hope to raise $10,000 this year to continue services to food insecure residents of Logan County, while adding new programs to combat child hunger in the community. Each year, BHS students have contributed approximately 100 soup bowls to the project, art teacher Sandy Winter said. Ceramic bowls are also donated by other ceramic artists, including The Cracked Pot Studio in Bellefontaine and Springfield High School art students. (PHOTOS | BELLEFONTAINE HIGH SCHOOL)
