Elvin G. “Bubba” Hoffman, 55, of Cable, died early Friday morning, Sept. 25, 2020, at his home with his family by his side following months of failing health.
He was an active member of AMVETS as well as a member of the color and honor guard. In his free time, he enjoyed singing karaoke, camping, fishing, junking (dumpster diving) and wood working.
Bubba was born January 31, 1965 in Urbana to the late Marvin and Marlene “Molly” Cook Hoffman. He was also preceded in death by a sister, two nephews and multiple aunts and uncles.
On July 7, 1989 he married the former Cynthia “Cindy” Eastman. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Cindy; their daughters Susan Edwards, Jessica (Josh) Nicholl, Cassandra (Brian) Edwards and Jennifer Hoffman; nine grandchildren; two sisters and one brother.
Calling hours will be 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday at the Ingram Funeral Home, with graveside services to follow at 1 p.m. at Milford Center Cemetery with Rev. James Taylor officiating. Masks and social distancing will be required at the funeral home.
