Mary Morrow, 43, of 732 Eastern Ave., was charged Tuesday with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.
Around 11 p.m., she was observed driving a car on Sandusky Avenue near School Street with its high beams on. She did not dim the lights for approaching traffic.
She was stopped and officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department detected an odor of alcohol while talking with her.
Field sobriety tests indicated she was impaired and breath samples of 0.174 and 0.169 blood alcohol content supported the officer’s suspicions.
Officers note she has a prior OVI conviction. She was cited for the headlight infraction.
