A first responder surveys a pickup that overturned into a field about 11 p.m. Tuesday after driving off a snowy State Route 47 just west of County Road 31. Troopers of the Marysville Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol report Joel Jackson, 23, of DeGraff, was operating an eastbound pickup when he lost control when he attempted to pass another vehicle. His pickup reportedly went off the left side of the road, and clipped the side of a utility pole before overturning and coming to rest in the field. Jackson reportedly was trapped in his pickup and was able to climb through a window to escape to call 911. Bellefontaine Fire & EMS treated him for possible injuries. A failure to control citation for the driver is pending, troopers said. (PHOTO | SUBMITTED)
