In the wake of the recent tornado that swept through Lakeview, the downtown business community has united to provide essential assistance to those affected by the disaster. Spearheaded by local business partnerships, a drive-up donation center has been established behind The Depot, serving as a central hub for distributing items of need.
The center offers a wide range of essential items to aid residents in the recovery process. Totes are available for packing essentials, and once these are gone, boxes will be provided to accommodate additional distributions.
A variety of items are available, including water, toiletries, feminine products, non-perishable food items, snacks, granola, pet food, stuffed animals, blankets, and coats.
As recovery efforts continue, organizers encourage community members to contribute what they can to support their neighbors in need. Every contribution helps Lakeview rebuild in the aftermath of the tornado.
