Tracci Sue Ritter, 34, of 420 E. Auburn Ave., was issued three summonses for having a dog running at large on Tuesday.
Three of her dogs escaped the residence around 10:55 p.m. and officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department observed the trio fighting each other in the area of Patterson Avenue and Ludlow Road.
An officer discharged a taser at the dogs to break up the fight. The dogs fled the area and were picked up by people in a vehicle which was tracked to Ritter’s residence.
Men targets of fraud
A Bellefontaine man reported Tuesday that he was scammed out of $1,500 in gift cards. He told officers he had developed an online relationship with a female who asked for his help to claim her inheritance.
She sent him a check for $4,980 and he purchased the gift cards which were sent to the scammer. He learned the check was bogus when he received a second check fo $3,980 and tried to deposit it.

Teen lodged in JDC
Areanna “Ari” D. Poe, 16, of 226 Oakland Square, was charged Monday with delinquency persistent disorderly conduct.
A school resource officers was called to the Bellefontaine High School officer regarding Ari’s belligerent behavior around 2:35 p.m. The officer noted she stormed out of the office and through hallways of the school. This caused disturbances in several classrooms before Ari was led back to the office.
She continued to yell and challenge staff members.
Other officers were called to the school and moved to place her under arrest. She struggled with the them but was taken into custody and lodged in the Logan County Juvenile Detention Center.
