Diane Supinger, 57, of Lakeview, passed away Saturday, July 22, 2017, at her home after a short battle with cancer.
Diane was born Nov. 23, 1959, in Sidney, the daughter of the late Eugene Fogt and Doris Zwiebel Fogt. She is also preceded by her sister, Karla Vicario, and brothers-in-law, Bob March and Vern Holthaus.
Diane lived in Jackson Center, where she graduated from Jackson Center High School in 1978, until she moved to Sidney with her husband of 35 years. She loved to cook and always wanted to feed anyone who showed at her doorstep. She loved her worldly travels with her husband and dog. Her hobbies were going to garage sales and canning foods from her garden.
She worked at the Honda Transmission Manufacturing in Russells Point. She was a member of the Indian Lake Eagles and Moose, where she enjoyed time with friends and cheering for the Buckeyes.
Diane is survived by her husband, Michael A. Supinger; son, Chad (Jamie) Supinger of Washington, D.C.; granddaughters, Veronica Supinger and Aubrey Supinger; sisters, Paula March of Jackson Center, Marcia Holthaus of Maplewood and Nina (Chuck) McGee of London; brother, Steve (Marsha) Fogt of Wapakoneta; brothers-in-law, Marc (Sherry) Supinger of Sidney and Joseph Vicario of Bellefontaine; sister-in-law, Lori Miller of California; and 11 nieces and nephews.
A gathering of remembrance is from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 27, at Shoffstall Funeral Home, 205 S. Main St,. Lakeview. Private family services will take place at Shelby Memory Gardens, Sidney.
