Dena Kay Herzog, 59, of Russells Point, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, May 15, 2020, at her home.
Dena was born on June 30, 1960 in Dayton, a daughter of the late John and Carol Cotterman Stout.
She married Michael Herzog on April 22, 1978, in Dayton and he survives, along with their daughter, Darlene (Jack III) Beuschlein of Findlay, three grandchildren, Ava, Jackson, and Gavin, three siblings, Michael (Bobbie) Stout, Karen (Jack) Brush and Mark Stout, all of Dayton, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Dena was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who immensely enjoyed being with her family and playing with her grandchildren. Dena’s second love was fishing and showing off her skills of hand fishing.
Reverend Jim Ellington will begin a celebration of Dena’s life at 4 p.m. Saturday, May 23, at Shoffstall Funeral Home, 205 S. Main St., Lakeview, with gathering of family and friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family asks that you be symptom free and to please wear a mask if attending in accordance with state guidelines.
